Raelynn Fuson

Raelynn Fuson is a passionate professional with a wealth of experience in youth development, education, and nonprofit work. With a strong focus on empowering young people and fostering community engagement, Raelynn is driven by a desire to create opportunities for growth and leadership.

In her role as Director of Youth & Young Adults at FUMC Chula Vista, she developed and led programs for youth and young adults, including establishing the Elijah Collective Internship program at SDSU. Raelynn also sourced funding for these programs, raising over $50,000 through grants and internal support, while creating a strong sense of community and leadership among participants.

As Director of Development at Wesley House Student Residence, Raelynn diversified funding sources and helped build programs that supported students both academically and socially. She also played a key role in conflict management and resident support, ensuring a positive and productive living environment.

At Home Start, Inc., Raelynn helped lead fundraising efforts, securing funds for large-scale events and driving marketing campaigns that boosted brand visibility and community engagement. Her efforts helped raise significant funds for the organization while supporting its mission to help families in need.

Raelynn holds a Master’s degree in Education with a focus on Higher Education and Student Affairs, and a Bachelor’s in Creative Writing. She is also a certified Wedding Coordinator and has volunteered with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, North County LGBTQ Resource Center, and South Bay Pride. With her expertise in program development, grant writing, and event management, Raelynn continues to make a lasting impact through her work and advocacy.
