The Human Dignity Foundation is one of the largest LGBTQIA+  foundations in the country and the only community foundation in San Diego dedicated to the benefit of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) people.
 
We fund programs and projects that promote equal treatment, tolerance, wellness, well-being, and above all else, human dignity.
 
We work to strengthen LGBTQ organizations and leadership. We nurture philanthropic giving to support LGBTQ people and address important issues such as aging, arts and culture, health and wellness, youth.

YMCA of San Diego County – Our Safe Place

Our Safe Place (OSP) offers a crucial safety net for LGBTQ+ youth and their families who often face hostile environments. This collaborative program provides safe drop in centers, comprehensive mental health services (including therapy and psychiatry), case management, and 24 hour crisis support.
