With a background spanning nonprofit governance, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and executive leadership, Karen brings both structural rigor and emotional intelligence to the foundation’s mission. Her work is grounded in the belief that dignity is not theoretical, it is practiced through policy, culture, and everyday leadership decisions.

Karen’s advocacy is shaped by lived experience. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, she understands firsthand the cost of invisibility and the power of being seen without compromise. This perspective informs her dedication to creating spaces where authenticity is protected, voices are amplified, and leaders are equipped to act with integrity and courage.

Trained in emotional intelligence and NLP, Karen is known for bridging strategy with humanity.
